repost from parenting: Kid Friendly Restaurant near rockefeller center?
I am looking for a kid friendly restaurant near the tree. We are planning to go in December but I would like to make reservations asap.

There is a TGIFridays over there on 5th but I don't know if they do reservations. There is the Rock Center Cafe which is the same level as the rink. The food is good. I don't know if they have a kids menu, but I'm sure they'd love watching the skaters. You can reserve through open table.

I would avoid chain restaurants because they are so much more $$$$.
when my sister came with her kids, we went to Burger Heaven - totally casual, but yummy and definitely kid friendly. It was only a few blocks away, I think on 52nd and Mad or there might be one on 49th.

Serendipity is great!! i don't care how cold it is, you must get the frozen hot chocolate and an ice cream sundae!
