Repost from Pregnancy: Teachers and pumping breast milk
Does anyone know the policy? Separate time? Location? Allowing mini fridge in class for storage of milk? Anything mandated? Where and when did you pump and store?

Re: Repost from Pregnancy: Teachers and pumping breast milk
I am not a teacher BUT just wanted to let you know that I use the little cooler that comes with the Medela pumps. I asked for permission to use the fridge and my manager said of course i COULD but did I really want to leave my milk unattended for hours before giving it to her! That was enough for me, I now use the cooler every day instead.
They HAVE to give you a private location to pump and adequate (although possibly unpaid) time to pump but I am not sure of the specifics.
Good Luck!
Just read your other post, by LAW they MUST provide a space OTHER THAN the bathroom.
