i'm gonna have to agree with the other posters and suggest that you move on from the relationship sooner rather than later. honestly, he's probably playing the "im a guy and i'm scared" card. once you let him go and not let it bug you, he'll start to realize what a great thing he had and then HE will be the one pursuing you!

Thank you girls/guy so very much for all of your advice......My head is still just swarming and I just keep over analyzing things and am making myself even more crazy!!! I need sleep so that I can hopefully wake up with a clearer mindset. Right now I can't think clear at all. But I wanted to thank you all for your advice...it means a lot!!

Ughh, so I barely slept last night and I still feel like crap...and to think that he told me, that things were fine and not to over analyze and worry about any thing because we didn't break up and are just taking things slower....what the heck is he talking about? He aint got a clue. He probably partied all day yesterday (at the party I was supposed to be at with him) and is feeling wonderful while I'm feeling horrible and can't stop getting upset!! Work seems oh so exciting today   Life is never easy!

i understand the emotions you're going through - similar situation happened years ago and i think what the pp said is correct...as hard as it is - move on, ignore him, don't give him the time of day - it will be a lot easier to get over him if u don't see him than if u are there at his beck and call
u deserve better...and the right man will come...love urself before u love someone else :)

That's awful! He's too much of a coward to completely break up with you and wants you to end it so he can think he's saving face.
Your time is much too valuable to spend any more of it on him.

don't settle for this! you deserve better b/c he is just keeping you around for when he feels like he wants/needs company. I agree with the others, though it sounds harsh, he's not that into you. He would have made the time for you if he was really into you. I hate to say this, but I think if he found someone else who interested him, he would go for it. You don't deserve that. Don't let him make you feel too bad for too long, he doesn't deserve to have that much power/influence over you!

Ouch! I am so sorry to hear this. As harsh as this may sound, I would end it now because if you let this drag any longer, the situation is going to get alot worse (& a lot harder to deal with). His loss. One day he will realize it. They always come back. ALWAYS.
