Last Hope Animal Shelter where I volunteer just recieved a dog from Virginia that was a week away from euthanasia. She is a VERY sweet Coonhound. NSAL isn't the only place that gets dogs like this. Search all your local shelters!!

they even had it in the paper in PA where I am breaks my heart...I have little POM...so sad there are so many ones that just want love

AWW!! 
I wish I could... and I have spoken to DH several times about the possibility of getting a dog.... but I know he's absolutely right when he says now is just not the time! We have 2 cats, one who is very nervous and would have a heart attack if we got a dog....... PLUS, we are TTC and moving to a house in a few months. Too much going on to add a dog into the mix, even though I would love to take them all!!!!!!
