restaurant near Gershwin theatre

Bringing my 10 year old daughter to see Wicked next week. Hoping to have time to grab lunch near the theatre. Any good restaurants that are somewhat kid friendly near there?
51st street between 8th and broadway, I think

O'Lunneys Pub is across the street. Good food and not really a bar cause its so big inside.

Gyu kaku. You grill your own meat and veggies. Went last night after I saw bronx tale and many time before that. Always a good time.

I just went to see Wicked on Sunday evening and we went to Da Marino on West 49th Street. Very cute atmosphere and pretty good Italian food. It was definitely child friendly.

I am sooo excited to see it now. I have heard nothing but awesome reviews from everyone who saw it.

Well I was coming on here to say that Ellen's Stardust Diner is nearby and seems to be a hit with the kiddos, but I don't know how long the wait can be and its going to be cold next week.

Performers sometimes do spit when they're singing. It's my #1 reason for not wanting the first row, plus the neck cramps from looking up the whole time. I don't think people always think of that...front row at a Broadway show is not like being front row at a concert.

I'd never spread dirt here though Chat Icon

Chat Icon I don't even know if there is any - I haven't heard anything but I've also been preoccupied with some of my own shit lately. I used to lurk on Broadway message boards so much and find out the deets but I haven't done that in so long! Maybe I'll waste my lunch break doing that HAHAHA

The one and only time I sat in the front row at a Bway show was at The Scarlet Letter. We got a full on saliva bath from Douglas Sills. I guess it takes a lot of oral power to project.

Playwright is down the street on 48th. I like to sit on the 2nd floor by the windows when I am with the kids.
