Awesome thanks! She is 8. But she is a picky eater. So a place that has a "Kids" menu too is always appreciated.
I love all types of food, but DH is strict keto. He can find something (or modify something) pretty much anywhere but somewhere that has steaks, chicken, fish and less pasta, etc is always ideal!

Lobster house! I like to sit outside (there are many seating areas). But need to have oysters or lobster there. I’m sure they have safe stuff for kids, but mine end up getting a lobster.
410 Bank street was very good, but on the fancy, French side.

I cant remember going to any resturant down there that doesnt have a kids menu. So dont worry about that. Cape may is extremely family friendly. My top restaurants are: 1.Union park, a lil fancier than most places but delicious 2. The blue pig at congress hall. Just fantastic 3. Washington Inn 4. 410 bank street 5. The lobster house, but we find its not as good as it used to be. 6.mad batter, kids love it 7. Uncle bills for breakfast, great pancake house 8. Georges diner, small awesome diner, was on the show " diners drive ins and dives". 9.theres alot of resturants right in the middle of town. Honestly we are not crazy about any of the food there. But the ugly mug has a fun vibe.
Let me know if you need any more recommendations. We just went down there last week with two friends that had never been there and they said " you two should get jobs as tour guides here, you know so much". Lol

Oh wow, thank you so much! This IS like a tour guide's list! I will check these out.
Any must dos in terms of things to do and see? We usually stay in Wildwood and drive to Cape May for the zoo and to walk around the mall area, etc. But we haven't in the past few years (other than the zoo) because the parking was soooo bad. Now that we are staying there I want to explore a little more. Anything we should look into?

Theres so much to do. Theres a few cute mini golf places. Go to sunset beach, there is an old watch tower there with a tour. The mini golf is there also. Theres different trolley tours u can take, it will tell you the history of the town and show landmarks. There is gorgeous horse and carriage rides. Theres dolphin watching tours and whale watching tours, sadly i cant do them due to horrible sea sickness but i hear they are fantastic. And believe it or not we go to a winery . Its called willow creek. Alot of families go. The adults do the wine tasting and they have delicious non alcoholic fruit juices for children. They have a tour thru the vineyards. Its on a trolley. Good for kids as well. We have done the lighthouse also. You can see all cape may. Its great. Let me think of some more. I know im forgetting sometging. Lol
