Funny how nobody is allowed to question you when you say you don't believe in the vaccine or social distancing because "that's my right and it's nobody's business" but you spend an awful lot of time worrying about what everyone else is doing.
You throw around brainwashed an awful lot, but you seem to be one of the only people on here who comes across as brainwashed, with an irrational fear of government control. News flash: the government isn't going to use wearing masks while alone as a form of government control. Look at North Korea. THAT is government control. Helping slow the spread of a virus that has killed 600,000 Americans and permanently changed the lives of millions of people is not control...its human decency. Things are getting better so things are easing and reopening. Government control would be if we were still in March/April 2020 style lockdown.

Don't you need a unique email address to sign up for a username? If that's the case then that means for each time VB, windyweather , etc creates a new screen name they are also creating a unique email? I dunno seems to me like that's an a ton of work.

How is wearing a mask while you walk down the street stopping your life? I live my life but I wear a mask. I walked down the street completely alone today to go to the atm with my mask on. Walked right past multiple big signs reminding people that masks are required. I don't get why it bothers anyone to see people wearing masks.
It makes no sense as who are you protecting?

In one post you're saying "If you are worried and want to take the extra pro cautions then you should have ever right to without people coming down on you." In the very next one, you're questioning someone's decision to wear a mask walking down the street, which they aren't even telling anyone else to do. Not even looking for an answer, just genuinely confused by the contradiction.
I am confused why anyone would wear a mask alone while walking down the street or driving in their car. You can do what you want but THIS makes NO sense.

I also don’t get into the whole “masks protect us” rhetoric but that’s my opinion and would never tell someone else that they should think the same way I think about masks. And you're entitled to your opinion. But to express it in the next breath after saying "people should be able to do what they want and not have people coming down on them"? No. Because whether it's your intention or not, that's what you're doing or at least how it comes across. It's fine if you don't agree with it or understand it -- but the whole point you were making is completely contrary to what you're saying here. It doesn't have to make sense to you. No one's telling you to do it. But if you want people to respect your practices, shouldn't you do the same for theirs?

Sure. But if the whole point is you do you, then why does it matter? Why ask someone in a way that would make them defensive if the point is no one should do that to each other? We all have different comfort levels with this, and I think your point was that we should do what makes us comfortable. (Maybe I'm wrong.) But if it is, that goes for ALL of us -- not just the people we agree with or understand. If you don't understand, that's fine -- but to ask in a way that contradicts your earlier point -- do what you want and have no one come down on you for it -- then it just doesn't work.

Why can’t she asks questions though? Because it might make someone else feel uncomfortable and defensive? I’d understand if she was asking questions with the intention to make fun or belittle someone but that doesn’t seem to be the case. We should be able to talk about touchy subjects with people that may have different POVs or beliefs from us and stop reading between the lines too much or take it the wrong way. Maybe a person is trying to understand someone else’s logic, or that person is asking questions out of pure curiosity. I personally don’t see nothing wrong with that. I actually thing conversations like this can be productive, positive, and they should happen more often regardless of how hot/taboo a topic can be.

I'll tell you this. If Florida isn't spiking right now, nobody will be.
I saw some Instagram stories this weekend of someone I follow and she was in a club in Miami and there was no sign of a pandemic in that club. Packed to the gills- they had to be at full capacity. People on top of each other like the old days of crazy packed clubs. No masks.
And I saw this a few weeks ago too on someone else's stories- in another part of Florida- a packed nightclub with tons of 20 somethings dancing one on top of the next.
So either they are defying logic, or something is changing.

I think it's safe to say that we all hate wearing masks.
No, I truly believe there are some people who love it and will continue to wear them long after Covid is no longer a threat.
Honestly I wish some people would keep their mask on forever! And I promise to never question it as long as they keep their halitosis to themselves and out of my space!

I saw some Instagram stories this weekend of someone I follow and she was in a club in Miami and there was no sign of a pandemic in that club. Packed to the gills- they had to be at full capacity. People on top of each other like the old days of crazy packed clubs. No masks.
And I saw this a few weeks ago too on someone else's stories- in another part of Florida- a packed nightclub with tons of 20 somethings dancing one on top of the next.
So either they are defying logic, or something is changing.
Things are changing. After all, nobody at the Oscars last night was wearing a mask. So it must be safe not to. Afrer all, everyone knows celebrities do the right thing. ??
Well they are probably all vaccinated. So you don't have to wear a mask anymore after you get vaccinated.....Oh wait...never mind.

Huh?!? This totally doesn’t make sense. What do the cameras being on/off have anything to do with wearing a mask?? So when the cameras are on, masks are obsolete and magically lose all sort of protection? Either that or they all held their breath til the next time commercial break.
