Rhogam Shot - Question?
I know this is probably a really stupid question but, I have a cold and am scheduled to get the RhoGam this week - wondering if it is like the shots for kids where you shouldn't get it if you are sick? Anyone know?

Re: Rhogam Shot - Question?
it should no be an issue... shots when you are a child are to fight of infectious agents... rhogam is designed to bind to the "foreign" substances otherwise known as your babies blood cells prior to your body noticing them so that your body does not see them and then respond.... the shot isnt there to help you produce and immune response, but to help prevent an immune response.... (can you tell i used to teach this crap) sorry for the technical sounding speach
