Rice cereal Feeding Question

I feed dd rice cereal twice a day - breakfast and dinner along with 4 bottles a day....

My doc recommended feeding her rice cereal then immediately giving her the bottle rather than staggering the solid foods.

How did / do you do it?

I see some people give the bottle first, then cereal a few hours later. I am confused now

I give my baby 3-4 oz usually as soon as we're done with the cereal. He seems to still be hungry. If he's so hungry he doesn't want to wait for the cereal I give him before.

P.S. we switched to oalmeal right away because the rice was making DS constipated.

Abby is not digging the whole spoon thing so we get it in when we can. I gave up the idea of "breakfast" when the pediatrician told us to give it to her then.

For now we feed her cereal one hour after she’s eaten her 4-6oz bottle.

Since I have to make formula anyway to mix with the cereal I mix up a 2-4oz bottle (if she had 4 before - I make 4oz, if she had 6 – I make 2oz)

Once I feed her the couple tsp of cereal she’s goes straight for that bottle. I figure it ‘washes’ it down.

But I only started last week, so what do I know?

I do what is easiest for me right now, which is serve them at the same time. I have to make a bottle for it anyway. He eats his cereal, then we have a bottle.

DD gets all her stuff at once

example:
breaskfast
1-cereal
2-fruit
3-finish off with a bottle

I only have to deal with food and bottles 3x's a day -then a bedtime bottle
