UPDATE!!! Question of the day: Am I becoming a mommy today?
I got a call from the dr. office after I posted yesterday that I should go to the hospital at 1:30. However we are still waiting for the results of the lung maturity test, so I could go over there for nothing.
For those who asked - yes the exact word they used about the first test was "borderline." Apparently when results come back borderline they have to run the second test, which takes longer. I know its all for the safety of the babies but its very frustrating, especially when I was told 2 weeks ago that there was less than a 5% chance the lungs wouldn't be mature at this point. It would figure I'd be in that <5%!
So now I am hungry and thirsty and not allowed to eat or drink anything. Please keep your fingers crossed for us today!
I will keep you all updated!
UPDATE : LUNGS are mature!! I will be a mommy this afternoon!!!!!!!
