Robbie is 7 Today (Pictures FOR REAL THIS TIME)
Seven years ago today I learned something about myself. I learned that I REALLY wanted to be a mother. And I got the chance when they laid that little 9 and a half pound bundle in my arms.
I will never forget when I was woken up and wheeled into recovery - and Rob was standing there holding the baby and he was tearing up because he was so filled with emotion. I asked him what our son looked like and he said - with wonder in his voice - "He's got a Marge Simpson head and a mushroom nose."
Some description, huh?
But our son was - and is - perfect. And I am still awed by the fact that I have been given this miracle, that I have been chosen to be a mother. I am still overwhelmed by the amount of love that my heart can hold for this person.
Robbie taught me that I wanted to be a mother. And I am grateful to him for that lesson and humbled by the beauty he has blessed me with.

Whoops! here they are!
Last pic is the most recent I have on the computer.. he wasn't technically 7 since it was 2 weeks ago.. but CLOSE ENOUGH!
