Robeez Question
I see that they sell Robeez for newborns (3 months old) but I thought babies weren't supposed to wear shoes? What's the deal with Robeez? Are they worth it for a little baby? And when are babies technically "allowed" to wear shoes?
Thanks...

Re: Robeez Question
robeez are like socks with a leather sole. They are like bare feet with protection. That small of a baby just seems like a decoration more than anything. Going outside they are usually totally bundled and inside they dont walk or have need to be on their feet.

Re: Robeez Question
I agree here, shoes aren't really needed until they learn to walk.
Even socks seem wasteful. I must have 30 pairs of socks as gifts and everytime I try to put them on DS he manages to kick them loose!

Re: Robeez Question
Robeez are just like leather socks - they are perfect for babies and for kids who are learning to walk at home b/c they are basically like walking in bare feet or socks. Honestly it just depends some people like them and others don't. I find that they were warmer than just socks on a cold day.
You can get cute cheaper ones (knock offs) btw at Nordstrom rack where they are like $12 or $14/

Re: Robeez Question
My DS didn't really wear them much until he was learning to walk, but I think they are great to keep the baby's feet warm when you are out and about.
Shoes for a few hours won't hinder anyone's walking at all.

You can get even cheaper knock offs at Target

But the target ones got really hard and funny after they were cleaned- but were cute! They didn't hold up as well as the others.

Re: Robeez Question
I've gotten ones similar to Robeez at Marshalls and my friends have done well at Century 21.

Re: Robeez Question
I get them at Target, the sole gets stiff after it gets wet but it usually losens up quickly.
I put robeze on DS when he was little to keep his socks on as well, because he was always putting them in his mouth. And when he started crawling and such.
