Rock n play, a swing AND a bouncer? D you think I need them all?
I know they are not exactly the same thing, but do you think I should register for both a rnp AND a bouncer ? We'll also have a swing , my friend has a brand new one and is giving it to us . Just wondering if I should just stick to RNP and swing and get the bouncer later on if I feel like I need one. I do remember DD used the bouncer a lot, slept in it a lot but they didn't have rock n plays back then.

Register for all of them!!
You will use everything for different things. I would put DS in the swing to nap, I would put him in the bouncer in the bathroom with me while I showered or in the kitchen while I was cooking or cleaning. The Rock n Play was great for night sleep and Travel or when you move from room to room since it's so easy to transport.

I used all 3. DD slept in the RnP, used the bouncer and swing during the day.

Yes! I didnt think we'd need all 3 but I definitely did. DD liked each of them for separate things. She never napped or slept in the bouncer that was good for putting her by the bathroom and having her entertained while i showered and in the kitchen while i cooked. She spent nights in the RNP and napped in the swing.

Yes, we use all three.
Since the Rock n Play folds up flat, it takes up virtually no space when you're not using it.

I have a swing, a mamaroo, kickin' coaster, infant to toddler rocker, and a RnP and use all of them. However I could've done without the mamaroo and kickin' coaster.

i got a swing and bouncer combo so i didn't have another thing sitting in my house. with that said we used (and still do sometimes) the rock and play for EVERYTHING! and DS slept in the swing a bunch also. we didn't really use the bouncy seat much by itself, but that was just us!

Depends on the baby. DD hated the swing and bouncer. She is 9mo and I think we used each for about 30 minutes total over the last 9mo. She did however tolerate the rnp. I was gonna buy a second one cause it was where I would plop her when I needed to do something so I lugged it all around the house. Dh vetoed that idea.

i never had a rock n play or swing, i did however have a fisher pice soothing glider that i did use in replace of a swing; i was limited on space so i got this instead and i had a infant to toddler rocker and we survied just with that.
I wanted to get the rock n play but DH didnt think it was sturdy enough to be around the our dogs so i didnt get it.

Definitely the Rock and Play and swing. I couldn't of lived without either one. They still use them and they are almost 8 months.

We had a swing and bouncer with DS. The swing was a huge hit. The bouncer was useful when I was showering and wanted to keep an eye on him. If the rock 'n play was available when DS was a newborn, I definitely would've bought it. We're getting one this time around. I want to be prepared in case #2 is as bad of a sleeper as DS was.

I had all 3. He loved his swing and rock and play. He didn't stay much in the bouncer but every baby is different. I would get all 3 if you have the room. It's good to switch up.

My DS wasn't into the swing but loved & still loves the bouncey seat at 4 months. I got a 2nd bouncer (from another LIFer) that he loved when at my bro's house. Most babies love the swing, but my guy is proof that babies are different!

We have a swing, the RNP and the pnp. Love having all of them because DD can go from one to the other while she is fussy and different things soothe her different days. We were at my mom's house this weekend and she sat in a bouncer. She loved it! I totally forgot to get one this time around but will be getting one in the next few weeks especially since she is more aware of what is going on around her and loves to look around.

My DS is not a big fan of the swing but loves the bouncer and RNP. It took him time for him to warm up to the bouncer and we haven't done the swing in a while. I bought a toy bar to go over the RNP and when we are eating dinner or sitting on the couch he sits in the RNP and plays with his toys.

We had the RNP and a swing that also vibrated so we skipped the bouncer and didn't miss it

It depends on the baby. For DD, all 3 came were very useful in the beginning so I'm glad we had all of them. But she was over the swing by about 3 months. The bouncy seat lasted until about 5.5 months. And the RNP I finally put away at around 9 months.
