I Loved the part where she said she will bring awareness of special needs ( her son) to the white house.
Hmmm....didnt she just cut 62% of the special need programs in her state?
Guess she doesnt care too much about things till they happen to HER.

I'm late to this post too, but totally agree. I was skeptical, but she proved me wrong. I was decided before, but she really made us understand why HE picked her and who SHE is. Bravo!

so, i'm gathering, that's a "no" on the whole will you answer 'how is he qualified' question? being that everyone keeps listing what palin has done and/or just states that being qualified really doesn't matter.
To me--the fact that people who disagree with her know the facts about her and what she stands for shows that we know how to research the candidates and make decisions based on evidence. To respond on a thread about Palin about what we don't agree with seems appropriate.
Do you really need people to research the candidates for you? Type Obama in google and you'll see everything he's done, and in turn be able to make an educated decision. This isn't the easy way out, but just to say that all of us who don't support Palin give reasons WHY we don't agree with her, and did the research--how about those that don't agree with Obama do the same.
I think many people give reasons but people don't want to hear them (I don't mean you directly, jsut a response to the post ;)... let's keep it real here, Obama is NOT the saint and God so many in the media are painting him to be or celebrities like Oprah, etc....are making him out to be.....he has MANY, MANY questionalbe alliances friends and moves he has made that are just as questionable, if not more disturbing, as anything being brought out today and sometimes they are not as KNOWN to many peoplec that claim they support Obama so I OMPLETELY agree with you , let's do the research and Obama supporters lets make sure you know the facts.......let's begin with Tony Rezko, now charged with federal crimes, who admittedly Obama had dealings with, money was exchanged questionably, then there is Jeremiah Wright who Obama claimed was like a member of the family for nearly two decades...well that was until it came out he was spewing HATE about Americans or how about the journalist from the Nation who is admittredly a believer in communism who sits on Obama's payroll as an advisor ..or my favorite how about Obama sitting on the Woods fund with William Ayers , a member of the known terrorist group the weathermen, who contributes and is supposedly a good friend of Obama's ...and the Woods fund helped raise money for the Arab American Action Network, a group exteremly opposed to Israel...now let's be realistic Obama is NOT the "perfect choice" and again I agree decisions on who to vote for should be based on research of all candidates but what frightens me is that all the skeletons are not necessairly being revealed equally and I think part of that is done at the hands of the media and while you and I may do all the research in the world the unfortunate fact is most Americans base there decisions on what they see on the news (aka...through the media) it is sad ...... ALL of the candidates have problems and past issues, Obama, Mccain, Palin and Biden I'm not pretending they don't but some of the issues are definitely being focused on more than others.
And to get back to the OP, I though Palin was great!

Sorry but this "liberal media" crap is really getting annoying. She's not complaining about the "conservative media" is she? I would say a very good portion, if not the majority of the media in the US is conservative.

The only media outlet in America that is Somewhat conservative is Fox news and talk radio WABC (here in NY). Some talk radio hosts are syndicated like Sean Hannity.
Liberal TV/radio in the US :
CNN
MSNBC
CSPAN
Air America
Then you have the public news channels like channels NBC, ABC, CBS, WNET, etc.
so its 1 TV cable news channel and 1 talk radio channel (2) compared to (8) EIGHT. How do conservatives have more media outlets? I am not getting it.
That does not count the internet either.
Newspapers...! 60% of the nation's papers print a majority of conservative columns. In Manhattan alone, which is a pretty liberal city, 3 of the 5 major newspapers are conservative.
