Room occupancy vs. invite list?

My room occupancy max is 60... My invite list is 74, but I also worried some women may want to bring their daughters.

Do u think I'm ok?

What's the average ratio of invited guests to yes responses?

Only you know your family and who is likely to come and who is not....but to be honest if the max capacity is 60 and you're inviting 74, I would cut the list. Especially if you think some people might want to bring others.

So either cut the list a bit or find a bigger location. You don't want your guests packed in like sardines.

My room fits up to 50 and I invited 52. I knew at least 3 that would definitely say no being out of state. In the end it looks like we will have 39-40 ppl there.

i agree with the above poster...you know your family and how they may respond. can you go through your list and try to estimate who will come and who wont?

my guest list was 64 including me and i assumed 50 would show. we're at 45 right now with 5 outstanding rsvp's and the deadline is saturday

haha.. sooo I read this thinking you mean the hospital stay!! This was me reading it:

I'm imagining you mean for a shower or some gathering not in the hospital.

I'd do an A and B list.

our room hold 50.. we invited 63.. and only 37 are attending

since it's a May shower, there are communions and graduations going on as well so alot of my guests had previous engagement.
