RP from Home:Anyone know anything about these districts: Seaford, Massapequa, Plainedge, Wantagh, Bethpage

These are our target areas for our home search. I was looking for some imput on these districts.

Grew up in Massapequa my whole life. Great area, location, schools etc. However, when I look for a house it will be in Bethpage. Massapequa has such a huge gap because of the south shores richy rich kids and it causes conflict in school. Bethpage is more balanced. Not sure what your status is lol but we make decent money but dont top the charts. I feel like bethpage is just a nicer environment.

Either way, you cant wrong with any of the above areas! Best of luck!

I live in massapequa and went to the massapequa schools. It is a really, really good school district. Be careful where you buy though..just because you live in Massapequa/Massapequa Park doesnt mean that you are in the Massapequa School District.

Kathleen, they are all good school districts. just watch massaepqua... partos Massapequa is Copaigue Schools... not so good. other wise, you're good to go. PLainedge recently went through budget issues.. it wasn't passed a year or so ago and they went on contingency... lost all sports, etc. families fundrasied money for the extras.

We are only looking at homes that are in these districts...We tell the real estate agent up from that we look by school district first and then the house

just be careful I live in massapequa park but some parts of massapequa are not as nice as others. But the school district is great.

i grew up in Massapequa Park and went to Massapequa SD...great schools...just rough in HS b/c you get a lot of the snotty rich kids and all the BS that comes with that.
