runners/joggers do any of you use
gel pads in your shoes to protect your heel? I just saw my dr and I have a fx heel so I'm out of commision for 6wks wearing this stupid boot  but I was just curious for when I get back into it, if that gel pad would help because the dr said the fx heel is from the pounding of my heel to the ground.
any info please share

No, but I bought an excellent pair of New Balance sneakers that feel like pillows on my feet! i'll let you know the model when I get home!

I have plantar fasciitis, but don't wear anything...I just make sure that I stretch my feet/heel every night and morning very well. and take motrin and ice if I feel it acting up
