Running in cold weather
I have seen people running in this cold weather with shorts or sometimes just light clothing ( the shorts really got me) and I'm wondering if there is a reason for it? Is there certain running attire you should wear to prevent something over perspiration or something??

They say you should dress for running as if its 20 degrees warmer than it is.
I tend to be cold most of the time so I would never wear shorts in the cold.
I wear lined tights, a coldgear shirt, a jacket, and a hat.

Ha, I'm out there but not in shorts. You do, or most people do, warmup lots of they are running long. I a, always frozen though. So I wear under armor pants and tops layered with a vest, a hat, gloves and anything else that I can.

Re: Running in cold weather
Whoa, shorts? Hey, whatever works for people, right?
When I can motivate myself to run outside, I'm still wearing winter weight leggings, long sleeve shirt, running jacket, and gloves. And usually something covering my ears, depending on the wind. But then again, I like to be warm.
I can't wait for warmer weather!!
