RV-related gifts (um, yes, seriously...)

My ILs just bought a giant RV. We thought we'd get them RV-related Christmas presents - maybe do a basket or something.

We already thought of... books, maps, and a guide to the KOA campgrounds... but what else?

I thought to see if KOA had gift certificates or something like that...

Any ideas.

Um... in case you can't tell, RVs are really not my thing... so I haven't a clue what they need!

ETA - I think we'll put it all in a picnic basket or something like that... That might be cute.

What about a boombox? If they are outside they may not have speakers to hear music.

my parents are big into RVing as well... they have a lot of fun with it! when the first got it, i made my mom a basket of plates, cups, etc that they could keep in the RV, so that they didn't need to use their good ones from the house, and so they didn't have to constantly keep packing and unpacking them when ever they went away. i would make sure you get them plastic ones, though- not real dishes, becasue they could break during travel. i beleive like IKEA or target should have some really cute heavy plastic ones.... also if you want to go expensiev, maybe a small TV for it ( if their camper didn't come with one)

Thanks guys! We'll probably spend about $150-200. I think they probably got a loaded one with satellite radio, etc. I'll have to ask DH.

I know they have dishes, etc. b/c they had another camper... I'm assuming they'll use the same stuff. (They had a trailer that they used at their lakefront property where you cannot build. They sold the trailer and bought the RV b/c they figured they could use it there and to travel.)

Is it a live-in one? You could get some bedding or towels for the living area.

It is, but since they sold a camper to get the RV, they already have everything they really need for the interior living spaces, I think...

Re: RV-related gifts (um, yes, seriously...)

Do they go to the same campsite every year or do they sightsee to different places?

Try Coleman.com for great ideas. My ILs bought a new camper this year and they spent a fortune there.
