Ryan did it!!!!!!!!!! Update with today's news....
He FINALLY napped in his crib!!!!!!!
When he was ready for a nap this morning. I changed his diaper, turned on white noise machine, aquarium thingy in his crib, nursed him, and put him down.
He cried for 18 minutes and DH told me to go get him. I got him and played with him for another hour. Finally DH left for work. I did the routine all over again. Ryan cried for 46 minutes then fell asleep for 25!
This afternoon I did the routine again, he cried for 20 minutes and slept for 40!!!!!!!
I think we are onto something here!!!!!! I'm sooooo excited I just had to share!

UPDATE..
So for his AM nap I made him sleep in the car. I wasn't sure how long he'd cry today and I didn't want us to miss our music together class at 11:15.
When we got home around 12:30 we played for a little while and he was really whiney.
So, at 12:45 we went into his room. I changed his diaper. Nursed him until he was super drowsy. Gave him a big hug, kiss, told him I loved him. Put him in the crib. Grabbed the monitor and walked out. He cried for about 19 seconds and was passed out by 12:58. It is now 3:09 and he is STILL SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's awesome!!! Where did he nap b/4 that? My DD naps for me in the crib, but now at babysitting she is giving them SUCH a hard time. She only seems to nap in her carseat, but for me the crib, I don't get it, other than she may not like the PNP

Prior to today he would only nap in my bed with me laying next to him. A bad habit I started and finally happy to break.

Glad it worked! It's heartbreaking but you learn to tune it out after a while  . And I bet he had a big smile on his face when he woke up and you got him! Unconditional love - even when we dump and run in the crib.

Thats good! For some reason DS doesn't seem to care where he sleeps! He'll sleep anywhere I put him. I try and put him in all different places. (pack and play, bouncy seat, car seat, swing, crib, bassinet) Try offering new places for your lil one to sleep. It might help im get used to sleeping wherever you put him.
