When this afternoons session went so smoothly I was kind of mad at myself for not doing this sooner. But, regardless....I couldn't be happier about how it is working out now!

That is amazing!!! DS used to only sleep in my arms and I eventually started napping him in his crib. He also started out crying a little and now, over a month later, hardly ever cries (or cries for only a few minutes) when we put him down to nap or sleep. It's a great feeling. Keep up the good work!!!

You were so smart to break that habit now! CONGRATS!!!
My SIL's DD has stopped taking naps at age 2 because she would lie in bed with her to get to sleep. This kid has no idea how to soothe herself so whenever she wakes up(even at 2am) Mommy is up too!
