SAHM: how do you NOT get sick when the kids are sick?
UGH....we just had a horrific 3-4 days...
first Alyson with a cough
then it hit me
and now Paul has it....poor little guy.
And we're all overlapping...so as Aly and I are feeling better and getting over it, Paul had the worst night last night.

I try and take extra vitamins and and stuff and I make sure I don't get run down, otherwise I will get it

Sometimes i can, sometimes i can't. The last vicious cold we all had it. But
I've gotten colds and not gotten them sick.
i carry around purell and I wash my hands like every 15 mins.

When Lucas had the stomach virus I was a nut about washing hands, toys, anything and everything. When we went back for his follow up the ped asked if it went through the house and when I told him how crazy I was about hand washing...he smiled and told me that was his secret weapon too.

I just dont get his colds. I think b/c my immune system is so much stronger than his. I wash my hands alot and I wash his toys ever couple of days when he's sick.

same here, plus I work in a school and have built a good immune system.

Johnny has hardly been sick but the few times he's had a cold, I've just avoided it. I guess b/c of a stronger immune system?? However, DH ALWAYS gets what Johnny has!
