SAHM's - what does your summer wardrobe consist of?

I am still uncomfortable with my PP body, and hate the way I look in shorts

I've been wearing skirts and flip flops, but skirts are not really practical for climbing to the top of the slide / swingset at the park .

What do you wear all summer long?

I need serious summer wardrobe help!

Not a SAHM but I wear capris and nice T shirts all summer long when chasing my kids.

I dont like short shorts either, so I buy bermuda shorts. I try to put on cute tops instead of boring tank tops so i feel a little more put together. And I always have on earrings and sunglasses. I have a few peeptoe flats that I wear instead of just flip flops all the time.

Well I dont wear shorts, MY rule of thumb is if your thighs touch, you shouldnt be in shorts. Mine do, so I live in capris all summer. Skirts when home or comfy cotton dresses in our own yard. T-shirts are also a huge staple in the summer wardrobe. Cool and comfy.

I only work p/t.
On the days I am home, I wear either shorts (short shorts) or capri/bermuda shorts, with either wife beater type tank top or fitted graphic t-shirt. I wear nike or adidas (comfy) flip flops or sneakers depending on what we are doing. Think Hollister, American Eagle, and the Target look-a-likes of these styles.

capris and t-shirts
since DS could care less what i look like,and always manages to get my shirt dirty, i don't nice stuff that can be ruined easily Slip ons (like keds but with no laces) and sandals are my shoe staples

i DO look put together, but in clothes that i won't cry over

I'd never wear shorts out but in my backyard I wear gym type shorts its way too hot. If we are going out I wear capris or jeans. Somedays a sundress.

Cute fitted t-shirts and tanks with either bermuda shorts or capris. Flip flops, flat sandals or ballet flats. I don't really wear sneakers outside of working out, except for Converse. Sunglasses, maybe some sort of cute necklace or bracelet (nothing expensive) and light makeup (lipgloss, mascara, light bronzer)

I own a couple skirts and sundresses, but don't wear them as much I'd like because they're so impractical right now with a 2 year old.

Colorful t-shirts and Bermuda shorts or linen Capri pants. I only wear skirts and dresses to dress up. I don't find them practical playing on the floor or in the yard.

Cargo shorts or Bermuda shorts with cami/tank tops or tee-shirts.

If we're just around the house or backyard I'll wear flip flops but if we're at a park or on the bikes/nature trails then I'll wear sneakers to keep up with the boys.

I wear dresses or skirts (maxi skirts are great because I'm pregnant). I'm not a shorts or capris kind of person.

Honestly....I look like a scum bag most days Shorts or running shorts, loose fitting tees and or tank tops, a baseball hat, and my birks. I'm about comfort not style. Having a toddler and being pg leaves little time to dress nice. I do "dress up" for familyish outings or going out into the real public. Like the zoo, the children's museum, out for lunch and so on. Most days we're just in the backyard or the school across the street playing and having a picnic. No need to dress up. I have found the more comfortable I am to play with my DD the more I look put together even on a sloppy day. DOes that make sense? I just make sure there are no stains or rips and i'm good. I shop ON mostly since I want cheap and comfy or JCP during a sale.

Capris and shirts and/or t-shirts. Summer is definitely the most unflattering season for me. ugh....

I wear cargo skorts from Lands End. I love them. They look like a skirt but have the shorts underneath for use girls whose thighs rub together

Usually with a fitted tee or tank top and flip flops.

for the most part, I am in bermuda yoga shorts or some running shorts & tank tops...I usually do a walk in the am with the boys & errands. Then in the PM, we are in bathing suits in the backyard..Flip flops are essential unless we are walking, then sneakers

I need to be all about comfort when I am home with the kids, bending & lying on the ground. I honestly do not see the need to get "dressed" for my kids to just spill something on me...
