salary requirements??
I hate it when a job posting does not list the salary range but then requests applicants to email their resume along with salary requirements.
How do I include my salary requirements? Would I include a salary range in a cover letter?
How do you respond to this?

Re: salary requirements??
i wouldn't include a range -- then you'll get the lowest number in your range if offered the job.
i would just say what your current salary is. that way you aren't shooting yourself in the foot by asking for less then they would've been willing to pay. it implies that they need to at the very least match what you are getting now AND it helps them b/c if you already make more then they're willing to pay, nobody's time will be wasted.
I usually end my cover letter with "attached for review, please find my resume. Upon request, I'd be happy to schedule an interview with you and can be reached at XXXXX. My current salary is XXX.

Re: salary requirements??
i put it as the last thing on the resume, and i usually say:
Salary requirements: $75,000+
so that there is room to discuss what you will be doing etc, and i usually ballpark around the lowest # I would be looking for give or take a few thousand, and when you discuss the actual job in detail, if you feel it will be more work then the salary, I'd explain that to them

Re: salary requirements??
I put my actual requirement. And I think it out very carefully. It usually winds up being my current salary PLUS about 5000 a year. Unless I hated my job or I was in imminent danger of being fired I would not accept a position that offered me the same or less money than what I am making now.
