Sangria recipe question
I know making it the night before and letting it chill for 24 hours is the best way to make it...my question.....
Do you add all the fruit the night before too? I cant remember

Re: Sangria recipe question
Some fruits can be added earlier (citrus type stuff). I don't like adding apples until right before I serve. Same with peaches, pears and any kind of berry. I like to freeze some of the grapes and add them right before.

Re: Sangria recipe question
I generally add the apples the night before so they can soak up all the yummy goodness. Soft fruits, like peaches, grapes and blueberries are best added at the end so they don't get all mushy.

Re: Sangria recipe question
i have a very fruity and light sangria recipe that someone posted a few years ago on here. it is DELICIOUS and everyone loves it!
one large bottle of blush wine one bottle sprite or 7 up one can fuzzy navel mix concentrate (frozen) fresh or frozen strawberries.
combine wine, fuzzy navel mix and strawberries. i use a huge jug.
add 7 up right before serving to preserve fizziness.

Re: Sangria recipe question
I usually soak my apples (red and green) and peaches in a brandy/OJ/Sugar mixture overnight...and then I add it all to the wine the following day. It is absolutely delicious...and dangerous!
