Save The Date - yay or nay?
Ryan's 1st birthday party is Saturday, June 20th.
Since June is such a popular wedding month do you think I should send a save the date? And if yes, when should they be mailed by?

I don't really think a STD is necessary for a 1st birthday. If you are concerned about conflicts, just start mentioning the date to family and friends.

I agree with above poster. I'd email everyone that you can now, and ask the others to spread the word. I plan on doing that in the next week or so for DD's party, which is the week after your son's.

I agree. My DS's bday was labor day weekend and that is what we did.

Re: Save The Date - yay or nay?
OK, thanks!
I will just send out a general email to close family so they have a heads up.
