Schedule change - 3 month old??
So here's my dilemma....I go back to work in 2 weeks I'll be working part time for the month of Feb and then will be full time starting in March. I work in NYC so I'll be leaving the house around 745am and will be home around 6pm.
Right now my DD's schedule is four 7oz bottles a day, the first one when she wakes up around 830am and the last one before she goes to sleep around 830pm.
She's an amazing sleeper and is STTN for almost 12hrs. I am being very selfish and would love to be able for her to get up a little bit earlier so I could possibly feed her the first bottle in the morning before I go to work. I dont even know how this would be feasible and really dont want to change her routine since she's gotten into such a great one but is there any way that I can figure something out or am I just asking for trouble??
In March she'll be going to a sitter 2 days a week so I'll need to get her up with me in the morning whether she likes it or not since I'll have to drive her there but if her schedule stays the same I would just drop her off in her pjs and the sitter would feed her breakfast and dress her.
I guess I'm just starting to feel sad that I'm going back to work soon and will be away from her for so long

i agree - putting her to bed earlier will prob do the trick after a few nights. however, you may want to go back to work first and see how you feel. i would consider it a blessing that she is sttn for 12 hours. i went back to work when DS was 10 weeks and he was still getting a night bottle and the sleep deprivation was fierce. i know you will miss her and want that time with her but if you put her to bed earlier you will miss out on time at night with her anyway. you may just want to see how it feels when you go back. just a thought.
