Scholastic Book Fair
Has anyone hosted one for their school? I'm interested in doing one, but don't know how involved it is from soup to nuts. Any advice would be appreciated!

We used to but they started charging tax and it became a hassle. Instead of even amounts of money, change had to be made.

Go on the scholastic site and contact them. They will send the local rep out to go over the different types of book fairs. It is relatively easy, just set up the books in the shelving they provide and work the cash register. You do not have to charge the students tax, you just opt to take that out of your profits instead (it doesn't amount to much). Since we do not charge tax, we do round up the prices though so we are not giving away a 1000 pennies a day.
