Drive safe. the reason i am up my niece got to scard to drive home. She woke me up to stay here. She said the roads are not plowed and it was like a white out .

they are updating like every 5 min. it is hard on this little net book to keep up. I am still learning how to ise it. lol but i need something to keep me awake, my daughters school more then likly will not be closed or delayed and she gets her bus at 6:30, so if i fell back to sleep now i would never get up . lol

as of 3:30 when my niece was on the roads she said not even sunrise was plowed, I just had a plow come down but it is not a town truck. the last storm we had a great guy (i guess sub contrated) he did the BEST job plowing. My road was so clear. I hope we get to keep this guy for now on.

floyd. i keep refreashing. it is now 5:20 and i need to start waking her soon. other wise she will never be ready in time. i will be ****** if i have to wake her and they decide at the last min that they was to delay or close. they are going to waiting till the last min for now on becasue they used 2 snow days already and due to some testing grading for state testing they had to close on may 11. so they are going to do there darndest(is that even a word) lol to keep the schools open here.

I have been up for almost 24 hrs ,and of course our school is not closed yet I got home from work at 2am and the baby woke up at 3am and just went to sleep I am soooooooooo I am praying for no school so this momma can sleep

DH called. I was debating bringing the kids to work with me (Manhattan) but he said the roads are AWFUL so we're off today.

Pure ice & not a lot of plowing in Huntington.

We got a phone call about 4:45am from the school announcing a 2 hour delay. We got another call about 5:30 saying school was cancelled...
