Not sure about all those districts but Herricks is an exceptional district. Roslyn is also known for special ed. Great Neck and Manhasset as well.
You have to know what you are really looking for in a special ed program. Some districts are great for certain diagnosis.
Sending you an FM

whats frustrating is the school doesnt even want to discuss any after school ABA sessions , and he is moderate , and they insist how a full time school is too much for the kid , and if he does not improve then maybe they will think about it in future ( future when its a load of $$$$ ,thats what it is as Nassau county pays for the school, but the school district has to pay for any additional classess, and they dont want to

Re: School districts near mineola , Nassau county
I'm in the mineola school district and I have a son in CSE and CPSE. Mineola has been VERY generous with us so far - but this was before the chair of the CPSE committee changed about a year ago. Since then, getting services has been more... difficult. Feel free to FM
Anyway, as far as neighboring districts are concerned, I've heard that floral park and great neck are not generous with their services and that Herrick's program isn't that great, although the district overall is fantastic. I'm not sure how much of this is true - it's just what I've gathered from talking to other moms.
Good luck!
