Screwy thermostat
I think we need a new thermostat in the house we just bought. We can't get it to stay on the temperature we set. It keeps going back to wait ever it was previously set at....even after we reset the whole system. So who should i call to get a new one.....KeySpan?....or should I call a heating and cooling place since I was thinking of getting a service plan for the year?

Re: Screwy thermostat
Sorry you are having this problem. If your DH is handy at all they really aren't difficult to install. DH just put ours in & changed the 2 we had into 1 (CAC & the heat). We were having the same issues before.

Re: Screwy thermostat
We had Petro install a new digital thermostat for us last Jan when we bought our house. They sat down with us and went over how to use it, how to program it, etc

Re: Screwy thermostat
I'm not sure what kind you have, but are you sure it's not set on the "run program" option? I had a lot of problems with ours in the past and I had to hit the override button to make it stay where I wanted to since the previous occupants had set up a program on it.
