I already saw Season 2 Episode 1 and loved it. They released it early. I can't wait to see the next episode!!! I am so excited for this season!!

Season 2 of The Affair
I was so confused by episode 1! Am I supposed to be?
ETA: okay, i went back and watched episode 2 on demand and now im on track. after i watched episode 1 i saw everyone talking about cole's view point, and i was like HUH what did i miss????? now i realized people were talking about episodes 1 and 2 at the same time.
now im ready for episode 3 and im sure it wont post for another 2 weeks!

Season 2 of The Affair
Is season 2 really going to rehash season 1 from the spouse's perspectives? I hope they don't spend the whole season doing that. They need to move on, otherwise I think it will get boring.

I've read that Season 2 will show the perspectives of Cole, Helen, Noah, and Allison throughout the whole season. That being said, I didn't find the first episode to be a rehash of anything from Season 1. It was all post-Montauk, post Noah/Helen break-up.

ITA, it would be SO boring if they just rehashed yet again what happened in Season 1. I think now that Allison and Noah ended up together it will be interesting to see the perspectives of Cole and Helen. Can't wait for the next episode!

They haven't gone ahead yet to where they were living together with a kid, his book was a success, and he was arrested. The first episode basically flashbacked to post-Montauk where Noah and Allison were together BUT with Noah just going through his divorce and signing his new book deal. I guess it was catch everyone up on what happened after they went back to the city.

I'm somehow able to see episode 2 already! It's from Helen and Cole's perspective. I hate how the show jumps around in timeline without any context or warning. The only thing different is the women occasionally have a different hair cut.

I agree. I thought episode one was OK but nothing too great. Or maybe I just hyped it up too much in my head because I am so excited for this season!

Not just you. He's so douchy - I'm happy his ex isn't with him anymore (although she's with a rather gross guy now, too), but I can't imagine leaving Cole (a mostly nice and cute guy) for Noah.

yep. Filling in the blanks!
The jumped so much in season 1 they are now filling us in what happened in between. Love this show!
