I am late to the party, but I just binge watched all of season 1 and the 6 available episodes of season 2 and I am so addicted to this show!!!!
I am dying to know how this murder happens. I can't get over how much hotter Cole is than Noah. Noah is such a piece of crap.

I think when Scotty said it is "our baby" he means it's the Lockhart family baby.........as in, you can't keep him from us and pretend it's Noah's. She wouldn't have ever slept with Scotty, they've never even hinted at that. I definitely think it's Cole's.
I loooooove this season. I love all of the different perspectives and storylines. I love how things are coming together. It's great!

Yes at first i was like WHEN did she sleep with Scotty?! Did I miss something?? Then the more DH and I thought about it I took it as "our" baby, meaning a Lockhart baby.

We learned the beach house was an inheritance, so that house might really be Alison's specifically - not sure of the law on that. But we also know from Sunday that Alison contributed to the swanky apartment and feels strongly that she needed to do so. So I wonder if she asserted her inheritance rights and, in Scotty's eyes, "screwed" Cole out of a sum of money that we know Scotty was counting on - it's all he ever talks about!
To that point, I cannot picture Scotty getting emotional about a baby like that. It's not consistent with how they have portrayed him - selfish, greedy, and obsessed with money. He outright admitted last night that they need Cole for his money.
Also, even if I'm wrong about the above, just because Scott says it's a Lockhart baby, doesn't mean it is.
I suspect Alison might not know for sure.
Second reason:
Sheer numbers - Alison and Cole had sex once during that time period. Alison and Noah meanwhile are doing it every 12 seconds . Many of us know what it takes to TTC; one night rarely cuts it. Bottom line is that the odds strongly favor Noah, and I think the writers are just giving us something to think about.

I actually ALWAYS thought it was Allison who killed him and NOT Noah. There was something in the last episode of season 1 in the last minutes as he was being arrested that made both DH and I think he was covering for her. It was something she said, something about her reaction to the arrest that just made us think she in fact killed Scotty and Noah was somehow taking the fall for her, intentionally or not. I'm curious to see how it all plays out. I hope we know before this season ends, it will be torture having to wait another year for Season 3 if we don't.

"Our" baby was in reference to Lockhart baby, which as another poster said is odd considering he aborted his own baby, since when does he care about offspring? Maybe it was another ploy to get money...like I know it is Cole's give me $$ to shut me up

Tonight's episode was horrifying. DH actually ran out of the kitchen to ask if I was ok because I gasped so loudly during the hot tub fiasco. HORRIFYING.
They sure are leading up to letting us know that the baby is Cole's.

Agreed. I knew right away too. I gasped as well!
I thought last nights episode was the best one yet. cole had me sobbing. SOBBING trying to take the molding off the door and "seeing" his son outside. I couldn't even control myself. Poor Allison had to go through all that alone.

But clearly she's still putting up with Noah's bull b/c we've seen flashforwards with the baby being older and she's standing by him. Things seemed to be fine at the end of last season when Noah was arrested. Poor thing - he's so yucky.
I'm glad the ex wife busted that dr for being a ****. :)

Allison is with him, but there was something about her demeanor and mannerisms in the "future" scenes from last season - especially the finale when they are in that apartment - that tells me that she is more calculating and in control.
I remember right before he gets arrested they are going over their calendars for the next day and she says something like "my day is packed" suggesting she has made some type of life for herself, something we really haven't seen much of.
So she seems okay, somehow - better than she is now.
On another note, yeah Helen is awesome!

Agree on all counts! Sooooo well done. OMG Noah is an absolute sh!t show!!!!! That party scene was nauseating. He is a pig. I love Cole. They are both so hurt and destroyed by what happened to their boy. She never loved Noah, just needed space from Cole because of how hurt she was by the situation. Noah was a distraction for her. This season started so slow but now I am so loving it!
