second pregnancy, different body?

For those of you who are second time moms. How different did you carry your pregnancy?
I am the same weight as when I got pregnant and I already look pregnant at 11 wks. Last pregnancy I didn't look pregnant until 20weeks and I'm only started this pregnancy 5 lbs heavier.

I didn't show the first time until 16 w but was in maternity clothes by 9 weeks with #2. I've carried lower the entire pregnancy (last time, people called DD my third boob!). There was also lots of fun crushing pelvic pain this time and sciatic pain on the right side, none of which I had the first time. Oh, and final last fun thing: I got stretch marks this time and didn't get any last time.

Everyone is different, though. Some people carry identically!

I started to show much earlier with #2. With my first, I fought buying maternity clothes for a long time... with this one I didn't bother and was much more comfortable.

I had terrible morning sickness this time and totally opposite cravings... it's a little strange how different my two pregnancies have been.

I showed earlier this time with DD I showed about 20 weeks. I gained more weight this time but it's all up front whereas with DD it was all over . Carried lower all pregnancy got lots of stretch marks, lots of hip/ pelvic pain and tmi vag pain

It's strange - I'm showing MUCH more this time but overall, everywhere else I haven't changed. Last time my face and my legs got so big but this time I'm all belly so far. And it's a big one for almost 18 weeks!

2nd pregnancy, different body.

I started showing early, and was wearing maternity pants and looser tops to hide my belly at 8 weeks. My butt, boobs and thighs got bigger a lot quicker this time.

I was at least 5 lbs lighter at the start of this pregnancy, but I've already surpassed my first preg. 20 week weight by 5 lbs.

I'm a lot slower, I waddle, I'm wide, and puffy a lot sooner too.

ETA: Also in addition to looking different, I feel different, and my demeanor is different. I'm calmer, more relaxed, less anxious this time around. And people have noticed (i.e. I'm not as bitchy! LOL)

Muchhhhh different. I got pregnant with this one 7 months after having dd and my body still wasnt 100% back. I started showing earlier this time and am much more swollen.

I'm on #4 and i can honestly say with the first 3 i didn't POP until about 18-20 weeks.

With this one, i popped around 12 weeks and its been getting bigger and bigger every day. I stil have a little less than 2 months left and people who've seen me throughout my other pregnancies verbally say that I'm bigger now and a month ago, than i was when i delivered my other 3.

Every pregnancy is different and as the dr says, your body, just knows how to stretch that way do it just goes earlier into looking pregnant.

totally different

my first was my son - round belly all over

this time, girl - more of a basketball belly

i gained 16 with my son and am on track to gain the same (+6 at 22.5 weeks)

I think I have lost weight bc I have been so sick but I hear the second time around you pop much earlier. Well see.

Very different.

With DS I gained weight all over and about 45-50 lbs. My face also changed, and was really puffy looking.

This time around I showed early on, and have this huge belly but didn't gain as much weight. My face stayed the same this time.

4th pregnancy and same body. I gain weight all over and never really have a big belly. I'm 22 weeks today and you can't tell I'm pregnant yet. At least no one at work as noticed. The only thing that has changed is that with my prior pregnancies, I couldn't wait for them to be over and hated to wear maternity clothes. With this one, time is going by too quick, and I love being pregnant and wearing all the beautiful clothes.
