Second Stimulus and top Dems
https://www.businessinsider.com/democrats-just-embraced-a-908-billion-coronavirus-stimulus-plan-2020-12
I think Pelosi and Schumer dropped the ball BIG time. This is why many Dems are tired of establishment and are more attracted to AOC and others.
This plan is lot of help for businesses but not actual people. I think a second stimulus in the hands of real families would be ideal right about now.

Hmmm....you haven't done so bad yourself in the last 4 years, correct? Lowest unemployment (until covid) so the average American was doing good these last 4 years.

Re: Second Stimulus and top Dems
We've already gone over this on other threads. It's great that you're doing better, but for the majority of the country, they are doing incredibly worse.
My 401(k) is at the highest it's ever been ever since Biden was fairly elected as our new President, so I credit him with everything good in my 401(k).
If we're picking arbitrary reasons for arbitrary metrics, I'll go with my meaningless basis for how good the country is going, to counteract any GOP meaningless basis for the state of the country....
and I can't be proven wrong because my 401(k) IS higher than a month ago, and Biden WAS elected, so therefore correlation must equal causation....

She was talking about the economy before covid and I will agree with this, the economy was indeed better (generally). How’s ur 401 better than 4 week ago and how could this be attributed to Biden??

I don't trust any politicians. However, historically speaking Republicans generally favor the rich and giving tax breaks to big business over the average American. (trickle down economics) Democrats tend to favor social programs which help average Americans while also giving tax breaks to the middle and lower class. So for someone to say that Democrats will be bad for American families shows a lack of understanding as to how the two parties (generally) tend to operate.

True. But yes, they are all shady IMO and I never really trust anything they say.

Almost all financial experts have been saying that the market would go up if Biden was elected. He was elected, and the market went up...

The Market is often swayed by how investors "feel". If they feel uncertain, they pull money out or shift it around, affecting the market. If they feel confident, they put more money in.

I know you watch right wing entertainment news so you might not realize this, but they wanted 2 trillion and came down to try to meet the Republicans halfway.
There are over 275 bills on McConnell's desk including the Heroes Act, that he has ignored because he and the Senate Repubs truly couldn't care less about the American people.
If you want to slam the Democrats, cool. They have their faults for sure. But to do so and stay silent on how the Republicans systematically work to line the pockets of big business while taking from the poor and middle class to do so you are, at best, very misinformed and hypocritical.

I definitely get that, but you don't always have to rely on "things they say."
There are a sh!tton of bills on Mitch McConnell's desk that would do so much to help average Americans - the HEROES act, a voting rights act, common sense gun control that is very popular, pension protection, etc. - that were passed in the Dem house. Most of them are bipartisan.
The Dems are FAR from perfect, but they are at least trying and they have taken action. The Republican Senate won't even bring these bills into committee. They literally sit there. It's an absolute outrage.
The Republican party has been like this for many years, which is why they have to suppress the vote to win national elections. Their policies are unpopular. (The last Republican President to expressly support a strong social safety net with a progressive tax system was Eisenhower.) But the last ten years or so it's been so blatant.

Wrong. So wrong. The market also went up after Biden was declared the winner. In addition, Wall Street has indicated they expect growing markets and a healthy rebound once Biden takes office.

It was a joke about a winner and yes while it had something to do with him, it was the same time for the vaccine so if you look it up, you will see it is included for the reason it hit that high.
I truly hope it goes up but I don't feel positive at all. I hope I am proven wrong as I am doing so well :)

But you just said above it nothing to do with Biden. But now it does? So which is it? It's almost as if you didn't bother to read the article before commenting.
It's EXTREMELY evident based on the things you say that you have bought into all of the far right conspiracy nonsense and lies. I'm done engaging, you have countless people on here telling you how wrong you are but you seem to enjoy keeping your head in the clouds. Good luck with that.

Moderna had a press release on Nov. 16th announcing their vaccine. Pfizer had a press release on Nov. 18th announcing their vaccine study was done and ready to be released.
Pennsylvania certified Biden on 11/24.
Dow went to 30,000 on Nov. 24th.

She was talking about the economy before covid and I will agree with this, the economy was indeed better (generally). How’s ur 401 better than 4 week ago and how could this be attributed to Biden??
Not sure how to answer that..... other than with actual facts...
The numbers in my 401(k) are bigger than the numbers in my 401(k) last month... to me, a bigger dollar amount means "better"....
Almost all financial experts have been saying that the market would go up if Biden was elected. He was elected, and the market went up...

The Market is often swayed by how investors "feel". If they feel uncertain, they pull money out or shift it around, affecting the market. If they feel confident, they put more money in.
The market went up because a vaccine is coming out, not because of Biden.
Wrong. So wrong. The market also went up after Biden was declared the winner. In addition, Wall Street has indicated they expect growing markets and a healthy rebound once Biden takes office.
As you liked to say to everyone, "do you even watch or read the news".
Well since he is not officially been announced the winner.....
The day the virus info came out it went to 30,000. I know this because I watch news stations and watch my 401K everyday :)
You're a very special level of brainwashed and delusional. You couldn't be more misinformed, clueless and ignorant to actual reality.
And countless people who DO agree with me but not all post.
