Secrets & your DH/DW
Do you keep secrets that other people tell you about themselves from your DH or do you tell him?
Does your DH keep his friend's secrets from you?
If you learned a secret about one of your DH's friends that you were sure DH was keeping a secret from you, would you just come out with it and tell DH that you knew, or would you keep quiet too?

To be honest, I usually tell him everything unless I know it will cause trouble- like if it is a secret about one of his friends wives that I know he would feel like he had to tell.
If I knew he knew and I knew too, I would say something for sure.

same here.
i can keep a secret from anyone else in the world, but DH is the one person that i tell everything to. Its different if its about His friend though, but if i knew he knew, then i'd probably open it up for discussion

If someone tells me something in confidence I try to keep it to myself. Its hard but I wouldn't want to break a friends trust in me. Especially becuase we have a close knit group of friends.

I believe that DH is exempt from the "don't tell anyone" clause.
He tells me everything his friends tell him, I tell him everything my friends tell me

Same thing here. If it was something we weren't supposed to tell, we just say...don't say anything. DH is my best friend, so if I can't trust him than I can't trust anyone!!

I usually tell him everything BUT if its a close friend of mine and she asks me not to say anything I wont. I wouldnt want her to be embarrassed in his presence.

YES...there are things that my friends tell e that i don't tell anyone, even DH. I don't think he wants to know anyway..
Who knows if the DH kept secrets about his friends...I hope so.
But if i learned something about my DHs friends....YES i would tell him

Oh god, no, we TOTALLY tell each other everything. Well, not what we ate and what not, but I tell him everything and vice versa. We're talkers. And JT is my biggest source of gossip

Unless it's somehow relevent, or just interesting, then no. If it's something like, so and so is dating so and so, or whatever, or if it's something that is going to become public news soon, then yes. If it's something seriously confided in me, then usually no. I do think Fh is exempt from the don't tell anyone rule (my best friend was actually surpised I hadn't told him stuff she confided in me) but iuf it's really something personal and there;s nothing to be gained by telling him, I don;t see why I should. If it's something I need to talk about b/c it's bothering me, then I will discuss it with him, or as I mentioned earlier if it's not really a secret or it somehow pertains to him, but otherwise, no, there's no reason to blab.

Hmmm...I guess it depends. I would normally tell him secrets that I think he would have a genuine interest in. If not, I probably wouldn't tell. I don't think he keeps secrets from me...he's been known to tell me some really juicy things about some of his friends...

I tell DH a lot of things but there are secrets about other people that I don't tell him. If someone confides in me and not DH then there is a reason for that I guess.

If someone asks me specifically not to tell anyone I respect that.
Even though I know DH can keep secrets with the best of them, I feel like it betrays my friend's trust if I tell anyone, even him.

We usually tell eachother everything. If I don't mention something it's only because I know he won't be interested.
Besides, half of the time, he doesn't remember what I tell him because he is probably not paying attention.

I agree with this. It also depends on the subject. If a friend is venting about her husband or boyfriend, I don't always tell him that stuff, b/c I don't think he necessarily wants to hear it and he might see the person differently after hearing it. Sometimes too, I will tell him something in more general terms, but keep the specific details to myself.
