everyone else as is in "bandwagon" you said everyone is jumping on the bandwagon, well you're going against it. therefore that is who "everyone" is.

I honestly believe we could use a no-nonsense person like him in the hot seat. Unfortunately, I think it would cause major problems with the rich, old men running this company, uh, COUNTRY and they'd assasinate him before he took his oath.

they could also very well not know exactly who they were voting for and just shouted out a name, or just found out about obama and don't know all of the details and information yet. maybe they were stopped on the street (i didnt bother watching the video) and were nervous.
you also never stated the accomplishments of mccain or clinton. you don't bring any valid points in this convo at all

In addition, I guess you didn't watch the video links or understand them. A senator knew he was going on Chris Matthews hardball. And if those supporters were pulled off the street, even better that they were caught off guard b/c it better exemplifies they are voting NOT based on knowledge, which was the point to be made I suspect.

about the streets, like I said, maybe they're new to the obama world and don't exactly know all of the facts yet. they liked what they heard and are starting to read into all of the facts.

This thread was about Obama's supporters in the videos posted, not to rally support for Hillary or McCain (which is also why there is no need to post what Hillary or McCain has done). Bottom line.
As I said early on, I never said don't vote for him, I said if you are going to support his campaign (esp on tv!) make sure you know why you are doing it.

Sure, the point was made that he has accomplishments from those cut and pastes. But the point of the thread was that most people don't know those and have already decided to vote for him.
Just as he has accomplishments, so does Hill and McCain. So I suggested that people, esp those going on national tv and supporting the campaigns publicly, KNOW at bit more before jumping on the campaign.
My comment was to the poster asking me to LIST what Hill or McCain have done when the videos posted aren't about them or their campaigns. I am not going to pull up a list of things, then cut and paste, to prove what they have done, when I am not on either of their campaigns and not on national tv saying "vote for .... for pres."
If you or anyone else would like to find equal videos exemplifying the ignorance of the Hill or McCain supporters on the campaigns, going on national tv to support them blindly, see if you can find some on Youtube and make a thread about it b/c that was truly the point of this thread.
The main point was really about people, a senator, other voters, going on national tv, to support a candidate they can't say BOOO about. Not so much people on an LIF message board saying what they think and who they will vote for.
