Semi-spinoff to cavity... Which Dr. would you rather go to?
I hate hate haaaate the dentist... I'd rather go for a 2 hour long GYN appt. than go to a 20 minute cleaning.
I was scarred as a child... that dental hygenist really did a number on me. 
ETA: "other" can't be your regular Dr. either... it has to be something somewhat unpleasant but you'd rather go to that Dr. over any other because the others are just that bad.

definitely my ob/gyn...I have an irrational fear of the dentist...I have not been to one in a few years  I have to go but I am so scared, I do not even know why

definately OBGYN. I don't mind that appointment. I hate the dentist bc they ALWAYS find something that needs to be done

Id rather go to the OB. Even though Ive had 3 kids, I still think all the dental work Ive done over the years adds up to more pain. I dont have a fear of the dentist but I hate everything about it. The smell that comes from any kind of dental work especially gets me nauseous.

I have no problem with the dentist, but I've never had any cavities or anything else go wrong, so there is no reason for me to fear the dentist.

You must have gone to the same dentist that I went to. I'm still mad at my mom for taking me to him.
I know I need major dental work but I keep putting it off (which is making matters worse) because I am so scared to go. I was actually contemplating the "sleep dentistry" that I keep hearing commercials for.

I've never really had a bad experience at the dentist. But I just happen to love my midwife so I'll pick midwife over dentist.

OB/GYN, without a doubt. I take pills just to get in the door for the dentist. I hate the dentist. I think I would rather pierce my chest again then go to the dentist and that didnt feel good.

I hate the dentist so sign me up for the OBGYN. I hate everything about the dentist the sounds, the smells, the stupid suction thing they stick in your mouth and then strike up a conversation with you. On top of that I think I even get a little claustrophobic or just feel my personal space is being invaded at the dentist. There's just something about having someone else's head a few inches from yours that doesn't sit well with me.
