I am leaving tonight for a week of training for a new job. The training is in Indy. This is the longest I've been away from my boys and I have never flown since I've had them. Please send all your good thoughts my way that I will be safe and my kids will be happy here and be good for my DH

That is tough. I went away from wed-sunday for my cousin's wedding in Mexico and it was really hard, but once I left I was totally fine and she did great with DH.
It was very odd not to have to worry about the next nap, feeding, diapers etc. for a while.

I hope everything goes smoothly! I had to go overnight for a new job in Sept when DD was 1 and was not looking forward to it. I actually enjoyed the break (I was a SAHM and now am a WAHM). I was so busy it flew by too. Good Luck!!

Thanks Ladies. Jen-that will be nice! But I will have to get up much earlier than I'm used to although I won't be up at night at all which, in our house, seems to be the new trend...Ronan up at 12:30, Declan up at 1:30, Ronan up at 3:30 etc...  Thank you ladies. I am sort of a nervous flyer so that's weighing on me as well.

Prayers for safe travels! In my experience the worst part is the anticipation of the travel/separation. The actual time apart is never as bad as I imagine.
