Sending resume through email...

When you send your resume by email, would you put your cover letter with your resume as an attachment or would you put it in the body of the email? If you put it in your attachment, would you just put something like "Please see attached" in the body of the email? I'm clueless? Chat Icon Thanks!

I would send it as one attachment. The first page is the cover letter and the second page is the resume

I've done it both ways. But usually I put a note in the email stating what is attached.

In the body of the email, I would put please find the enclosed cover letter and resume for the x position. I look forward to hearing from you. Something like that

I would make the letter & resume one document (with proper page breaks of course) and attach that to the email.

Yup that's what I would do. I wouldn't put a separate cover letter in an attachment.
