DH has to drop her off there alone b/c I hate to leave her and scare her or think of her scared.

OMG, Im gonna have a child? LMAO

Am I the only one so attached??

Re: Seperation Anxiety

LOL - why am I stalking your posts right now?

No - you are not the only one! When I used to bring Molly to the groomer (this is why I now have the mobile one come to my house) -- they would take SOOOOOO long to do her - and she would be gone for hours at a time. I thought I would actually enjoy the time alone - but I felt so guilty thinking "what are they doing to my baby" ---

Then, we decided to get the mobile groomer bc of the time I dropped her off there to just get a trim (not washed bc we just did it) and they washed her and she wouldn't be ready for a few more hours --- I got in the car and started hysterical crying. Chat Icon Dh thought I was nuts (and this is pre-pregnancy by the way so I couldn't even blame hormones)

Even when we had my grandmothers wake this week - I was worried about leaving her home for too long and wanted to try and drop in if we had time - so I brought her to my parents bc they live closer. We couldn't get away with enough time so I NEEDED to have my aunt and uncle check on her just to ease my mind.

Soooo, I totally know where you are coming from --- and then there are times I just want to strangle her little neck when she is torturing me!

Can't live with them....can't live without them!

When we go on vacation, I spend the first 3 days crying because I feel bad for leaving the cat, and then 1 day OK.. and then the next 3 days I cry because I miss the cat and want to be home.

We're going for 10 days in a couple of weeks... Chat Icon

I cry every time we go on vacation and all during vacation, I talk about the doggies non-stop. Also, there are night when I refuse to make plans since I have not seen the furkids enough during the week. I definitely know what you mean!

The question is, who watches them when you go away?

I cannot even focus while away. Its bad, I understand what you feel.

Re: Seperation Anxiety

I get so sad when I leave her in the morning, she makes those sweet sad doggy eyes at me. I can't take it.

I barely go away anymore b/c I dont even trust my own parents to watch them (like I would of course). Thats how nuts I am about them and I cannot even focus while away. Its bad, I understand what you feel.

We are all very attached to each other. I worry when I bring them to the Groomers b/c its on a busy street and I just worry they somehow will bolt out the doors.

We leave them with my brother when we go away. He comes over and house-sits. He loves them, and our furbabies love him but to me, it's not the sameChat Icon

Re: Seperation Anxiety

I feel so much better that I'm not the only one!!
Right now we are staying with my parents, until we move into our new house, so my mom is with her all day.
I call 2x a day to "check up" on her.

My mom thinks I'm a lunatic. But I don't care.
