Seriously, here is the timing deal on the storm...

Not much overnight into Wed morning. Still not too much to round out the morning. Picking up in the early afternoon to LOTS in the later afternoon into early evening. (Again, this is for NYC and LI)

I will personally kick the first person that complains the snow isn't here yet when they wake up in the morning. Or if they say "major storm?!?!? All I got was two inches overnight."

It is supposed to hit in about 12 hours. (Yes, lunch time for those of you that get the glorious opportunity to work an 8-5 job) It is really supposed to get nasty for the night commute.

So, no comments for 12 hours. Zip it!!!

Put on your pasties and enjoy the next 12 hours.

I am so not looking forward to shoveling tomorrow night, although I would love this storm to be timed perfectly for schools to be closed on Thursday too.

You would be so proud of me. My DH asked when is the snow coming, can I go to work.

And I broke it down for him exactly like you said. I was like please keep in mind, you will be able to go to work but you will have a b!tch of commute coming home.

His face and then he asked when did I become a weather expert.

Check out my original post for those links to specific areas of snowfall totals. I could type all night for every specific town.

I am not the queen. I am just the moderator that interprets the forecasts into normal terms. Who the hell wants the scientific blah blah? Just tell when I can get to/from work.

Bleh... I woke up this morning and there was barely anything on the ground.

Of course my boss sends an email he is "working from home". And even though personnel said we should only come in if we can "get in safely"... I was more or less forced to come in. Total B.S.

I just sent my boss an email telling him I am leaving at noon. If he doesn't like it, too bad so sad. I am not screwing around with the LIRR today, knowing they are out to spite everyone and will cut service at any time.

I'm in Northern Jersey... Essex County to be exact... it's coming down at a pretty good clip here, if I had t guess, I'd say there's about 2 maybe 3 inches on the ground already.

He woke up at 5am this morning to go to the City. Then leave early before it's too bad.

Apparently LIRR has listened to you also and is increasing their trains in the early afternoon for early dismissals.
