Seventh Generation Paper Towels and Toilet Paper?

I'm trying to go as green as I can. I now clean with the Shaklee line of products but I'm missing out with it comes to the paper goods. I should start using the 7th Gen Towels and Toilet Paper. Anyone use them? Recycle paper products don't always seem to work very well.

We do. The paper towels aren't the kind that you can get wet and then dry something else with. They're not that thick. But that is the whole point. Chat Icon

We always have it in the front of our minds, is there an alternative to this? So we dry our hands on our dishtowels, use a sponge when we can.

The TP is just fine for us and we used to use Charmin! I read plush TP isn't great for septic systems anyway.

I know I'm spending more money but I can afford it.

The toilet paper is ok but the paper towels are terrible...so thin and I used so many of them that I think I did more damage by going greenChat Icon So thats one thing I can't give up...my Bounty paper towels and Dawn dishwashing liquid.

the TP is copmparible in consistency to regular old scott, which is what we use (more septic tank friendly). But marcal makes a recycled TP that is way cheaper, and also decent.
The paper towles were good, too- but definitely not absorbent like bounty.

The TP is fine.

The paper towels - eh. Like Greenfreak, I'll use my dishtowels to dry my hands.

I have used both. The towels are a bit rough to the touch but they worked well for me.
