No...not really just make sure to use a lot of lube and wait for the Dr to give you the allclear.

My OB suggested using lube bc your hormones can be still out of whack and if you dont have enough estrogen you can be very dry down there (I think breastfeeding also contributes to this in the beginning.)

I agree about needing lube. But it didnt hurt at all. I never needed lube until then. Went away quick though.

i was the same way. 1st couple of times hurt and lube was needed.

Yes it did hurt , my doc also said its totally hormonal. Very temporary though

ITA with everything. Also, if you labored/dilated at all, that can also contribute to some discomfort. It gets better though.
