Share your DC's 1st Birthday Theme
Trying to get creative and plan my DS's first birthday which is 6 months away 
I want something different and unique....my son doesn't watch tv or have anything favorite...yet, so I don't know what to do! TIA

We did a construction theme, as DS was really into banging, dump trucks and digging!

Great Ideas!!!
I was thinking ONE in a Million and make the invitation in the shape of a 100 dollar bill and buy some stuff related to this. But Im still not sure about this. I was going to do a Cat in the Hat theme too....but not sure where to begin.

DS #1 is an April baby so we did a "Lil Slugger" baseball theme being it was the start of baseball season.
DS #2 is a September baby so we will be doing a football theme since it will be the beginning of football season for his 1st birthday.
Celebrate Express has a lot of great themes and ideas!

I did farm theme too, as DD loved animals at ONE but didn't watch tv then so didn't love any particular character!

You can really go nuts with the idea.... we did little pails and shovels for a goody bag that said "thanks for coming, we 'dug' having you!"

I just remembered I picked up a bunch of the small blank New York license plates (plastic with names on them). I would like to use these, maybe as a favor. Can i incorporate a theme...New York, New York....or Gangsta's of New York.....I know its not juvenile, but it is different.
