What always worked for DD was taking her into the bathroom and running the water in the sink. She'd stare at the lights and the running water always seemed to calm her. I'd usually rock her or pat her heiney at the same time. I also had a CD that usually worked too. It's Carnie Wilson's a Mother's Gift. The first song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow. DD loved it.

Alex was fussy when she was tired the first few months we would always do..
BATH TIME and a Baby Massage
worked everytime for her and put her right to bed, who wouldn't fall asleep?

I bribe her with red sports cars. Funny, DH doesn't like when I do that.
Nothing could really soothe DD until she started sleeping in the swing. I would walk and hold her for hours. It only lasted a few weeks. Then I realized she was a belly sleeper.

The 5 S's really do work....and this week, I started using the Baby Bjorn, and she loves being close to my chest.

the sling works every time. she'll sleep for hours in it. now only if i could sleep with her in it....

I would vacuum while she was in the swing saddled. It would put her to sleep. If I couldnt calm her, vacuum went on.
Always worked. GL
