Sharing an Amazon Prime membership
I just found out that you can share a Prime membership with up to 4 people. Does anyone know if the people you share with can have stuff shipped to their own address?

Absolutely. You can have multiple shipping addresses and payment methods on your account. I don't know about sharing an account as far as log in information, but my friends and family always use my Prime account, particularly around Christmas time.

You have your own cart (I believe). I share with my sister and her MIL and Ive never had any of their items show up in my cart

Yep, my husband and cousin are on mine, they didn't have to get new accounts or anything, their old logins, wishlists, payment methods, addressses etc are still the same. They only get 2 day shipping but not the other benefits like free streaming. The primary Prime holder has their own account and that is the account that gets the streaming etc.

The only thing different than prime vs. no prime is that you get that shipping option. Everything else is the same and you have no access to anyone's info, purchases, account at all, not even the main person. Only the main person can get streaming.

After you set up your account you send the people you want to share with an invitation. I think it's under the Manage Your Prime Account section.

Thanks! I just looked it up and it says up to 4 "household members". DO you think it matters? I was going to put FIL on our membership but he doesn't live with us.

You can only share the free two day shipping. You cant share the books, downloads or other prime benefits.
