She ain't budging! (38 week and 4 day appointment)
So Ed-lie remains content in the womb. She has no desire to make an appearance any earlier than she has to. I am not so much as a millimeter dilated but there is no way to tell if that is due to nature or the severe scar tissue on my cervix.
She has, as my OB puts it,"a nice round head" which made me almost wet myself in laughter. Based on her body measurements, she is estimated to weigh 7 pounds and 2 ounces and her heartrate is excellent. So basically, it's a waiting game now.
I HATE WAITING!!!!!

Have you tried wearing your cheese bra and eating yummy assortment of cheeses to get her to come out?
Maybe she wants a different car than the one Daddy promised her

I hear ya, Momma! Maybe start having some spicy food, go for long walks and tell Ed you need some special lovin'. Maybe that would start the eviction process?

DD was the same way - 39wk appt, wasn't dilated or effaced and she was still high - I had a scheduled induction set for my 41st week. A few days later, on my EDD, at a follow-up appt, I was 3cm dilated and my water broke on the exam table!

she knows that once she leaves, she won't be able to taste cheese for MONTHS! What's a cheese-lover to do???!

Lily was the same way! She was happy inside and not moving a bit....then, at 39 weeks, 1 day - she decided it was time and my water broke!
Any day now!!!

I wish I could or I would be snug like a bug in a rug with DH right now. I can only sleep when I am tired and I am soooo NOT tired.
