Sheetrock for upsairs bedroom!
We have a bedroom upstairs that needs all new sheetrock. The room is approx 10X12. Do you think it will be $$$.
Recommend anyone you worked with.

If you can find friends that have hung sheetrock before that are willing to help out, I would ask them first. We hung our own sheetrock & it was actually pretty easy. We had a terrible tape/spackler, so I don't have anyone to recommend for you.

DH put up our sheetrock w/ the help of family/friends; it actually was pretty easy. The hard part was taking down/cleaning out the old sheetrock. DH also spackled/taped, that part takes time & someone w/ experience. Our room was about 10x14 & it was maybe $275-300 for sheetrock (to buy) & the taper/spackler would have been about $600; then you still have to paint, etc. Not sure how much a contractor would charge from start to finish.
