SHOES/SNEAKERS/SANDALS??
What do you wear to an amusement park on your feet for 8 days when you know its going to be really hot and you have to walk a lot??
I hate the way sneakers look with shorts but I need to be comfortable and I feel like my feet get way to hot in sneakers
any suggestions? I have to buy something this weekend.
ps I am up for sneakers but maybe something cute and light

I would wear flip flops, but nice ones that are more supportive like reefs or tevas or something, not like old navy....but I personally hate sneakers!
If you do want to do sneakers, maybe a lighter, more fashion-type sneaker, not a huge athletic sneaker?
Above all I would make sure you break in whatever you're going to wear so you don't get blisters!

i can't wear sneakers for long walks - my feet swell and get too hot and uncomfortable. for places like zoos and amusement parks, i just wear the most comfortable flip flops i own and take a pair of flats to wear later in the day when, inevitably, my feet start hurting anyway.

I loathe socks and sneakers in the summer....

I would go for sneakers. Go to skechers. They have cute sneakers and are very comfortable.
Maybe bring a pair of flip flops to change into later on in the day if your feet get really hot.

I would wear sneakers, they are the best for walking around, plus if you are going on roller coasters and stuff, you might lose flip flops.

How about some cute low pumas?
or these ballet styl crocs.. they are realy lightweight.

I agree with sneakers for the rides too. I just hate the way they look.

I don;t own crocs at all but once when DH was taking an hour shopping for sneakers at dicks, I tried a pair on & didn;t want to take them off.. they were pretty comfy.
Not sure how they will hold up in the swealtering heat though.

flip flops will destroy your feet if you walk all day in them.

what about a pair of comfort sandals that don't look too grandma
I love naturalizers
check out Naturalizers, Aerosoles, Fitzwell, and hush puppies.
they all have cute and COMFY sandal options!

i really hate sneakers..i do. but if that is the most comfortable option, then id go for it...youll be in disney, not paris so fashion is not a big thing there- its very casual - no one is looking at what you are wearing- so wear what you are comfy in.
if it were me id probably bring ballet flats with tread on the bottom- calvin klein makes some- also marshalls has a big shoe department- worth checking out...maybe some haviana flip flops since they are thicker on the bottom- or birkensticks since they mold to your feet shape.
if you want sneakers go for merrils or pumas..
some flip flop suggestions

I know I already responded, but just wanted to say you don't need sneakers for roller coasters---I love going in flip flops! Just stick them under your butt during the ride (or off to the side if there are cubbies)...barefoot is fabulous!
I would definitely wear my Reef flip flops
